Theme words turn olive-green once found. Each puzzle has a theme (like "Reasons the deadline slipped") and a handful of words that fit it.

The spangram is the special word (gold) that names the theme, and always stretches from one edge of the board to the opposite edge — top-to-bottom or side-to-side.

Any real word counts — even ones with nothing to do with the theme. Every 3 you find fills the hint meter (the dots near the top) and earns one hint, which outlines an unfound word's shape for you.
